My work with Public Policy

Public Policy has always been a passion of mine. From teaching government to eager high schoolers to seeking public spirited internships, the works of government has been something I have been interested in for a long time.

In that vain, here are some projects that I have worked on related to public policy.

  •  Being a avid commuter cyclist, the subject of helmet usage has always interested me. How do cyclists form their opinions on whether or not to wear a helmet when cycling? A group and I created a research project investigating this. A presentation of that research can be found here.

  • Libraries and Intellectual Property go hand in hand. When I started looking into organizations that do not believe in intellectual property, I only came across one who talks the talk as well as walking the walk. The Mises Institute. Here is my short (15 minute) presentation on the topic.

  • In the picture to the left, you see me volunteering at the Inside a Books Project in Austin, Texas. The Inside Books project works to get reading material into Texas prisons. I studied the group and how they shared information. My findings can be read here.
